Tecinvest NV was established 20 years ago and has its head office and production unit in Wommelgem, Belgium. The company manufactures liquid polyurethane resins for water sealing and surface stabilization. These resins are marketed under the registered brand name Spetec®. They are high-quality products that are used mainly in civil architecture for stabilizing surfaces and blocking water penetration. In the main, they are used in major projects, including tunnels, mining, metro line works, ground barriers and foundations. Given the worldwide nature of this type of application, Spetec® products are exported worldwide.

Specialized products for civil applications

Tecinvest NV is also the exclusive Belgium and Luxemburg distributor for products made by the Dutch company Stopaq Europe. Stopaq products are used for the corrosion-resistant protection of pipes and valves in the gas and petroleum industry. The sealing paste in this product range has unique properties for use in underground wall conduits carrying cables and tubes. It can be used for domestic and industrial connections, including electrical cabinets, signal boxes and telephone switching stations, etc.

Spetec® resins: more effective than traditional systems

Spetec® resins are often the last resort for situations where difficult conditions make it impossible to work with traditional systems. Spetec® resins can be applied effectively to stop serious water seepage or for smaller problems involving cracks or joints in structures that tend to conduct water where it is not wanted. Spetec® can also be used to stabilize fine-grained or water-saturated surface packs, paving the way for many new applications.
